I’m called many things by my friends and clients… The elder, master teacher, goddess, everyone's mother, animal whisperer... but deep down inside, I'm a fairy. That is my happy place. Ever since I was a little girl my happy place was in nature and that connection allows me to see beyond the eyes of doubt and reason. That is the same energetic that helps me see the highest possibilities for you.
One of my biggest blessings began when my mother was 8 months pregnant with me. Living in Miami at the time, she felt very strongly that I needed to be born in Hawai'i, so she headed back to the Big Island. I was born in a little plantation town above Waipio Valley on the northern end of the island. That is where the fairy was happiest. Growing up around so many different cultures, I was able to see such diversity in life and the simplicity of life.
My grandmother often spoke to spirits in her store and throughout our house as if they were right next to her. It did scare me because I didn't understand. Before the age of 5, she was speaking to me about other dimensions, I observed miraculous natural healings and learned about living in harmony with all of nature.
She also taught me how to honor my ancestors through Buddhist practices from a very young age. The connection to my Japanese heritage and my upbringing in Hawai'i of old gifted my spirit with such a richness that I am eternally grateful for.
When I was born, my grandmother's best friend who was a beautiful Hawaiian woman gifted me the name Leiola, which means "child of health." Hawaiians believe that a child will live up to their name and I did because I was an extremely healthy child. Now, as an adult it seems that the name is something I have grown into and am sharing as a healer. I know both my Mom, Aunty Rachel, and my grandmother look down and smile as I step further on my path.
I’m definitely not what anyone would consider "normal."
I have been doing shadow work most of my life without even knowing it until way into adulthood. Being pushed hard in that way, while also being held by my guides and angels, has led me to now live a life of surrender unlike anything I could ever have imagined.
Having a strong Saturn vibration in my chart caused me to grow up early. I look back now smiling with ease and understanding of how it all taught me what I am here to share. Finding the way to the soul's sovereignty is not only everyone’s right, but it is home.
Growing up, I was mentored into a very successful career in 5-star hospitality. At the age of 40, after being married and divorced and climbing as far as I wanted to go in the corporate world, I had worked personally with many of the world's richest and most powerful people, and I lived in a house in walking distance to the beach…
But I realized I wasn't happy.
I had what everyone tells us we are here to achieve, but my soul was crying out for more.
And now I understand why.
I am what I call a person who has learned from coming through the back door. There are so many healers who have learned from school and books, yet I am one who has learned through living firsthand what most people read about in books.
Along my path, I have been gifted with the most tremendous mentors and teachers. And, of course, my spirit guides and angels. Archangel Michael stands behind me, Kuan Yin sits to my left, and Ganesh is to my right clearing the path.
